Heavy Equipment Operator / General Laborer
Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/General Laborer? Join our team today! In this position, your day will include operating heavy equipment or installing a variety of underground infrastructure. As a member of one of Lincoln's leading construction firms, you will have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while working on some of the area’s most challenging construction projects. Many of our supervisors and members of upper management began their careers as Heavy Equipment Operators and General Laborers.
Key Responsibilities:
- The operation of heavy equipment necessary for the installation of underground utilities, communication ducts, and hourly service work (loaders, excavators, backhoes, etc.). The following skills are required but not limited to: the operation of equipment, carpentry skills, concrete placement and finishing, and associated construction activities.
- The installation of water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and appurtenant work. The following skills are required but not limited to: the operation of small equipment, carpentry skills, concrete placement and finishing, and associated construction activities.
Key Qualifications:
- Obtain a Class A CDL (not required for all positions but preferred); Meet our qualifications of a motor vehicle record review; Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
