SCOPE: Hydro Excavate to locate existing utilities as part of a pedestrian crossing improvement project.

Children's Hospital Tower Expansion Project

Location: Omaha, NE

Owner: Children's Hospital & Medical Center

Subcontracted to: Kiewit Building Group

Scope: General Excavating used hydro excavation to help locate existing underground infrastructure prior to construction of a new patient tower at Children's Hospital & Medical Center.

City of Seward Power Line Replacement

Location: Seward, NE

Subcontracted to: Commonwealth Electric

Engineer: Olsson Associates

Scope: General Excavating directionally bored over 5000 feet of power cable as part of a City of Seward power line improvement project. Work on this project also included the use of Hydro Excavation to locate existing underground utilities as well as mapping the newly installed power line using GPS. The use of GPS coordinates will allow the city to accurately locate the new power line when splicing, relocating or associated work is needed.
