A home for tomorrow’s business leaders… The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s new College of Business Administration building continues to take shape at the corner of 14th and Vine Street on UNL’s city campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. With an expected completion of summer 2017, the 240,000 square-foot building will serve as the new home for tomorrow’s business leaders. Hausmann Construction, the general contractor, is responsible for the coordination of a small army of subcontractors and suppliers on the project designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture. The site, while offering a commanding view of the city campus, poses some challenges for the below grade utility work designed by Olsson Associates. General Excavating is nearling completion of the site utilities while working around existing infrastructure, a limited staging area for materials, other contractors on site, and large numbers of pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
