14th Street Widening & Cable Relocation
Location: Lincoln, NE
Owners: Lincoln Electric System, Unite, Time Warner Cable, Windstream
Scope: Relocation of approximately 2,000 feet of cable and duct by directional boring and open cut trenching. Directional Boring was used to place the cable and reduce the time needed for road closures and restoration. Vacuum Excavation was used to reduce the risk of penetrating existing utility lines prior to construction.
