GE Wins AGC Excellent Safety Award

On November 17, 2022, General Excavating was recognized for its outstanding safety record at the AGC Nebraska Building Chapter 2022 Fall Social & Awards Event. Project Managers Jake Shaw and Steve Crosby accepted General Excavating’s award for a Zero Incidence Rate of 80,000-249,999 Work Hours in Utility Infrastructure.

Safety is at the forefront of every General Excavating task and project. Through ongoing training, toolbox talks, site-specific safety meetings, and utilizing best practices in the industry, General Excavating works to ensure each individual and crew practices safety throughout their day. General Excavating also utilizes several resources and safety professionals to assist our employees on and off construction sites to identify, reduce, and eliminate construction-related hazards. General Excavating prequalifies through several entities that provide management compliance services to ensure the clients they serve have a reliable pool of well-trained, low-risk, financially strong, and qualified contractors. Because of these ongoing efforts, General Excavating is proud to have received a Certificate of Commendation for Excellent Safety from AGC of America.
