OSHA Hazwoper 40-hour Training

Education at General Excavating is continuous. Crews completing work on environmental remediation projects are required to update their 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training on an annual basis by attending a refresher course. Successful environmental projects start with a safe work environment. The refresher course covers topics from how to handle lead impacted soil to petroleum clean-ups. In addition, General Excavating’s environmental and directional boring crews are also e-RAILSAFE System trained. Often times the work performed by General Excavating takes place in railroad right-of-ways. Completion of the railroad safety training allows GE’s crews to complete work in a safe manner when in close proximity to railroads.
