Scope: General Excavating constructed EPA mandated compliance improvements on the LES Rokeby Generating Station including: enlargement of a containment cell, abandonment of an existing fuel oil line with flowable fill, installation of new double-walled steel pipe, site restoration, and associated work. The new pipe possessed a leak detection system that alerts the owner if leaks are detected and will help the Lincoln Electric System’s primary peaking power station maintain safe operation.
