For the past 30 years General Excavating has been providing solutions to owners, general contractors, specialty contractors and a wide range of other private and public entities.  We have never aimed for the lowest price because we all know, lowest seldom equals "best". Our goal is to provide the best "value".  Value includes delivering high quality work performed in a safe manner. Value means meeting unexpected problems head on and working with those involved to find solutions.  Value means providing cost estimates before a project has begun to help those involved develop an accurate and doable budget. We've won plenty of awards throughout the years that illustrate the kind of work our guys are capable of delivering.  Examples of work that has been honored for construction excellence include: Sprint Fiber Cable Placement in 1996, BNSF Havelock Yard Soil Remediation in 1998, Bryan LGH-East Environmental Clean Up in 2000, NE Game & Parks Calamus Fish Hatchery Drainage Modifications in 2003, Lincoln Electric System Salt Valley Generating Station Makeup Water Supply and Blowdown Project with a National Award in 2004, Lower Platte South NRD Stevens Creek Bio-engineering Stream Restoration Project in 2008, TETRA Technologies, Inc. Micronutrients Facility Corrective Measure Implementation in 2010, Nebraska Innovation Campus CRES Project with a National Award in 2015, and many other communication, environmental, and site utility construction projects. Throughout the years we have stubbed our toe a few times but have gone out of our way to correct mistakes and in the process, helped learn a few things that have improved our process from preconstruction to project closeout.  In the end, I think we all want to work with people who do what they say they are going to do. Thanks to all our clients, employees, friends and industry associates who have helped General Excavating grow over the years.  We look forward to the next 30!
